One of our Ember Project student teams raised over $3000 for the organization Worthy of Love last Sprjng. Brenda's story, marked by resilience in the face of adversity and triumphs over obstacles, shines as a source of inspiration and a powerful example of the strength of perseverance and compassion. Her dedication to leveraging her journey and knowledge to champion the rights of immigrants establishes her as a SparQ hero and a guiding light for everyone.⁠ How much is too much?⁠ Celebrating one of this year's Ember Project recipient teams. These 8th graders are helping to address the issue of housing insecurity by supporting a nonprofit called Worthy of Love. ⁠ Thank you to St. Matthew’s Parish School and the Quintero family for getting these valuable resources into the hands of young eager readers in the Lennox community. LumenSparQ proudly presents the next reading for the LMS Book Club - Red, White, and Whole by Rajani Larocca:⁠ Our little free library at 156th Street Elementary needed an upgrade. A new look, some new books, and we are good to go.
