This holiday season, join us at LumenSparQ for the “Steps of Hope Campaign,” in support of our SparQ hero, Thea Chimilio. A USC public health master’s student, Thea works tirelessly with Safe Place for Youth and The Helpful Homegirls, aiding young people grappling with housing and food insecurity. This winter, we’re addressing a vital need: men’s shoes. With about 70% of those facing housing insecurity being men, comfortable and sturdy shoes are not just essential, they’re a lifeline.
Our goal is to provide 150 pairs of shoes, and we need your help. For every pair you donate, LumenSparQ will match it, amplifying your impact.*
Your contribution to the Steps of Hope Campaign is more than a donation—it’s a commitment to a brighter future for those in need. Thank you for joining us on this journey of hope and change.
There are three ways to participate:
1) Purchase a pair of shoes from our Amazon Gift Registry, which will send the shoes to Thea for collection, or
2) Drop off a pair of gently used shoes to the Safe Place for Youth Access Center located at 340 E. Sunset Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90291 or
3) Donate to our Steps of Hope Campaign page. With our match, your donation of $25 provides two pairs of shoes to those in need.
Please share this campaign with friends and colleagues, and tag us on social media using #StepsOfHope23. Thank you for your support!
